Uniserve Professional Services to Move to Upgraded Co-location Facility in Vancouver

Uniserve Professional Services is pleased to announce an upcoming move to an upgraded, truly state of the art co-location facility in Vancouver. Located at 200 Burrard St at Waterfront Centre in Vancouver, a Class AAA building constructed in 1990, the facility contains a number of first class upgrades:
- Completely rebuilt electrical infrastructure including a new scalable AC-DC-AC uninterruptable power supply and a stand-by generator system dedicated to the facility
- Improved Internet access with three Gig-E connections to the primary Internet fiber backbone in Vancouver
- Raised floor data centre facility
- Security includes 24-hour manned security, video security monitoring and fully programmable encoded card access system with PIN code option.
- Telco grade FM200 waterless fire suppression system
Uniserve Professional Services will move equipment from the current location in North Vancouver over the next 30 days. Existing co-location customers are assured that due to the advanced network architecture no IP address changes will be required by the move and a suitable time will be coordinated with each customer to minimize the impact on uptime.
The move to the new facility will be completed by May 31, 2009
